Rangers Preview

Tonight's game features the return of The Donald with a Rangers team that has been substantially overhauled since last season - nine new players suited up for the opening night game.

One player not expected to be wearing the blue is Sean Avery who is recovering from a knee issue. Hate to see that.

The Rangers are placing a lot of weight on the shoulders of two rookie defensemen - Michael Del Zotto and Matt Gilroy. Both scored goals in the Ranger win over the Devils earlier this week.

Look for the Rangers to play a puck pressure game but don't be surprised if the caps get their share of odd-man rushes.

Boyd Kane has been returned to Hershey since the Flyers loss leaving an open spot on the fourth line. Eric Fehr? Tyler Sloan moving up to forward? The return of the $5 Million man? (Spoiler: It won't be the latter).

Probable Rangers lines:
Prospal-Dubinsky-Gaborik
Higgins-Drury-Callahan
Lisin-Anisimov-Kotalik
Brashear-Boyle-Voros
